BletchMAME 1.0 has been released

Now that MAME 0.213 is out, it is time for BletchMAME to go 1.0:
Quote:
BletchMAME is a new experimental front end for MAME. Unlike existing front ends (which function as launchers, keeping MAME's internal UI), BletchMAME replaces the internal MAME UI with a more conventional point and click GUI to provide a friendlier experience in a number of areas (such as profiles, input configuration and a number of others). While BletchMAME is intended to support all machines supported by MAME, it should be particularly suitable to computer emulation.

I gave it a try but it's not working properly, I don't know why. After installing it and pointing all the paths, I still cannot configure games before playing them. All options are disabled in grey and I cannot do anything rather than running the games. What should I do to enable the "configuration" and other options under the Settings menu? They are all disabled :/
EDIT: After running a game, some options in the Settings menu are now enabled, but not the "configuration..." one that I think is the most important, since I need to disable artworks and enable shaders in the game. Does it have support to BGFX shader options and to enable/disable artworks?
One suggestion to the developer: please do a "Favorites"option where I can put my games/systems in this list and display only those that I actually have, instead of showing everything. This is very helpful.
And what is that "Profile" tab for?

This seems to happen if there is a runtime error in the LUA code.
Any chance you could invoke MAME with the following command line:
mame -plugin worker_ui -pluginspath <>
Enough reports like this have come in, suggesting that I need to make these problems easier to diagnose, among other things.
Profiles are a feature by which you can create a MAME session, and images will stay loaded across them, and if present, save states.

Any chance you could try the bleeding edge version (1.1.0.1)? I've made a change to try to report LUA plugin errors better. While I don't expect the error messages to be good, I expect it to be better than what you're seeing.
