I have a dual display setup.

Acer ET322QU 32"

AOC 2779 27"

I turn on my PC and both monitors. My PC boots up just fine along with my AOC monitor. But, the Acer monitor was black screen. It was on, but it was a black screen. I tried turning the monitor off and back on, but it wouldn't turn off.

So, I shut down my computer and unplugged the surge protector from the wall and plugged it back in. I rebooted my PC and turned on both monitors and everything worked fine.

So, my question is why did that happen? Is my Acer monitor about to die? It's only a year old. I tried Googling my issue but most of the results was about a monitor not being able to turn on, not the other way around.
