Yup. Retired from the Navy... and still deploying with the Navy.
Looks like I missed the last 3 MAME updates and they sure look good... but should I hold off for .213 to get my updates on? Is it dropping within the next couple of weeks?
Lots of other stuff to deal with. My mansion (Japanese apartment building) is undergoing some kind of renovation, so the whole thing is covered in like screens and tarps. Combine that with the summer heat, and the fact that I'm (pretty much) next to the water... and I have a serious efing mold problem

Say... Are you near, or have you ever been to the base in Yokosuka?
Eta: I'm sure you have. I have a cousin that's in (or was in) the Navy that I've never met. His mother was Japanese, his father is my uncle. I believe he's still over there in Japan. Probably married a gal from over there too (but I could be wrong). I had been wondering for a while if it was possible that you might happen to know the guy. Then again, there's a LOT of people in the Navy. He was big into martial arts/Karate. His first name is... Jeff.
I could elaborate in a PM if it's possible you might know. Then again, no need to go hunting him down if you don't.

I’ve known a few people named Jeff. I do live near Yokosuka now and work there (when not out to sea). Just got here the end of December though, and don’t spend a lot of time on base, except when I need something from the NEX or Commissary. Most of my time in Japan was spent in Atsugi (basically, Ayase and Yamato city). Two years of the last 20 were spent in Sasebo (near Nagasaki).
