I didn't know (or forgot) CAPCOM had a console like the NeoGeo.

Yeap! Just one game cost ab out $160.00. They released SFA for it towards the end of it's run, and it cost almost $300.00. I LOVED SF2 & would probably have bought the system if I had a ton of money. But it was only released in the Asian market, so I dunno if it woulda even worked in the U.S.

It had NTSC output - would've worked in US, but no joy for Asia/Europe without a multi-system TV.

Far I know it just plug in on your arcade game. Play on your TV without a cabinet needed. I bet there is a prototype of this addon.

I don't think it a fail. If it was then those never been sold. Second the games wouldn't run it. They just limit those for sale. Just a cash grab.
