Unfortunately, there may not be many more of these because I don't have the art..
Is anyone else around who could help with the handheld artwork and take quality photos of things?
There only seemed to be manson976 who was making anything similar and who inspired me to make Tiger Handhelds. I quit on my first Konami bezels when I saw his, but I'm no sure if he released anything or if he stopped altogether. Curiously, when I was poking around the internet I stumbled upon where he was from it seems we're just a few miles apart. Small world.
The bottom is cut off, too. I did this on purpose but I might have been wrong with the coordinates.
For all the Konami games before this I was matching the screen area exactly like the svg layer and it worked out well, but when I was comparing Garfield to things I saw online, it didn't look right so expanded it.. Maybe I didn't pay enough attention to the way it should really look. But I probably am wrong and thanks for pointing it out, I need to know things like that. I'll fix it later tonight.
> Cheers Bob. > > I have Turtles II but can't give it away to dump because I probably need to sell it.. > And there's a Turtles 3 and a Turtles Basketball
If you gonna sell it. Sell it to a dumper. Least you get the money.
> If you gonna sell it. Sell it to a dumper. Least you get the money. Stupidly, I forgot to ask anyone if they would buy it. It's long gone now.
Boring thing but I've updated all of these Konami games since the artwork code was updated and its let me do the screen positioning a little better because I noted that the svg should be slightly inwards from the backdrop area, if anyone understands. With the old system this was problematic and I would need to pad the sides out with duplicate screens to fill gaps it created.. but now it just works and no need to pad anything
Added Contra. I've had a scan of the art for ages but I didn't want to work on it because it was quite dusty. A new one didn't come my way so I decided to try and clean it up and use it.
The background isn't a new source, it's just the old scan and I changed the colours a little because in a couple of shots the path looked sorta green. It may not be right, of course. And I probably couldn't fix the ghosted area on the right so left it.
