It has been forever, what files go in which dirs?

Hi Everyone,
I grabbed these:
MAME 0.206 ROMs (bios-devices)
MAME 0.206 ROMs (merged)
MAME 0.206 Software List ROMs (machines-bios-devices)
MAME 0.206 Software List ROMs (merged)
It looks like the "MAME 0.206 Software List ROMs (machines-bios-devices)" is a subset of "MAME 0.206 ROMs (bios-devices)" which has 128 more.
There seem to be same name different files between "MAME 0.206 ROMs (merged)" and "MAME 0.206 ROMs (bios-devices)"...
I was thinking of dumping them all in \mame\roms but I can't with the files that are same name different contents...

really what you want is
MAME 0.206 ROMs (merged)
MAME 0.206 Software List ROMs (merged)
MAME 0.206 CHDs (merged)
and if you have space to burn
MAME 0.206 Software List CHDs (merged)
