I call my format "9x16", designed for those of us who use vertical monitors with MAME. The specs are as follows: 1. Fill out as much of a 9x16 layout as possible with existing cabinet artwork. 2. Avoid empty black space on the screen by using generic speaker panels, kickplates/coin doors, sideart, flyers, and custom bezels/control panels where needed (based on other existing artwork). If you prefer the no-bezel look of some games where I've added a custom one, launch them with the -nouse_bezels switch. 3. Every file has a Full_Cabinet view and a Full_Cabinet_Lit view; in the lit version, everything but the marquee, game screen, and LEDs are dimmed to create a backlight effect.
The main difference between this and the VirtuaCab format is that in order to add control panels to that format, I'd have to be a 3D modeler, which I'm not. These are mostly add-ons to the official MAME artwork files, with control panels added wherever possible, and many have working LEDs/gear shifters that I haven't posted elsewhere. Many of these files are unfinished/in progress, and all are of varying quality depending on what I was able to find. I included MAME/MESS, HBMAME, and even Daphne files (but the Daphne thing I'll save for another time). Everything included is AS IS; feel free to tweak if you like. If I haven't properly sourced anything, let me know; this was a long project.

Holy... Wow...
There is SO MUCH good stuff in here that I am going to need to add in for 2018... you put a TON of work into this.
Any chance you still have the CDRs for all of this? And if yes, can you upload to the Shared Drive?
I especially love a lot of the Control Panel stuff, but I want to be able to have each element as a separate file (CPO, buttons, joystick, button stickers, etc.).

I'll see what I have, Chief. If you check the .zip files, a lot of times I'll have the CPO saved as "*_old" without any buttons or the like. So many are rough approximations it embarrasses me to post them. But my health isn't the best of late, and I thought maybe someone could put this all to use before I have to give it up. It may take a while, but I'll go through my .CDR files and see what's there and create a new Google folder for them.

Hi Nightvoice,
Have a look again at the ftp site. You should be able to download the clouds that are missing from the bottom of the Barrier's screen.

Nice. It remind me of this when I think about it.
I edited out the link on it. It so dumb when someone added a link to a scan. Totally ruin it.

That’s a long overdue oversight. Please contact MrDo! and get the access you deserve.
I’ll send you the tiff file by the weekend if you are still waiting.

You don't have access to MAME Artwork Shared Drive anymore?
I'll send it again tonight.

Nope... go to Scans folder, then there is a folder marked TrevEB... everything he's uploaded is in there.

Added and uploaded to Google. The bezel still needs cleanup, but it's usable for now.

That is a lot of nice work. The button layout in your MK3 control panel is incorrect however. The buttons should be positioned similar to how you have it for MK4.

All I had to go by was the CPO, which is always the bottom line. If you can find me a clean CPO scan for MK3 that reflects that configuration, I'd be happy to update it.

Clean? Not sure... I'll see what I can dig up.

In the meantime, I did some looking and it turns out the CPO I had was for MK3 Ultimate, which has the extra block button. So for now, I've edited the file to use a facsimile I made using the logo with the correct 5-button pattern. It'll have to do until I can find a better scan.
