Disable mame gfx pop up panel

Ive found that if '/' is pressed on some Atari 3D gamessuch as Gauntlet Legends, a MAME panel appears showing certain graphic information. I think it has something to do with the 3dfx emulation. I see no mapping for it on the MAME UI and nothing in the ini file. Any ideas on how to disable it or map to a different button?
Thanks for any advice people can share on this.

Some drivers have hacks like this that trap a particular key. They should only be enabled in debug builds if at all, but that requires discipline on the part of developers. Anyway, the only way to disable it is by editing the driver source.
