Best way to keep up with mame development news?

What's the best way to keep up with development news for MAME. I'm interested in reading about WIPs and newly added features.
Is there one a one best central place for such info? Or am I doomed to search wherever whenever for whatever?

Specifically for MAME, Vas Crabb always does a great writeup whenever a new official release happens at end of the month and details can be read in the various whatsnew text files that come with each version release "mamedev.org/releases/whatsnew.txt"

If following/monitoring in between updates the github page is the place

If not into reading source code changes, but want to read posts besides on MAMEWorld are these pages of forums.

And also forums on Bannister's site such as the 'SVN builds - new driver flood' thread because there will usually be a wip posts there showing updates.

There are still a couple frequently updated blog entries that are linked from Bobby Tribble's unMAMEd home page, but only one or two that are really up to date. Most aren't these days.

No I'm saying blog as a format has been dying for years and it's mirrored in mamedev blogs. If you look at the dev blogs at best you might get 1 post from this entire year while probably 95% of them have 0.
