Whats 5 years

Been about 5 years since I have posted around these parts. I'll be interested in seeing the familiar names etc. Wow whole lot of reading to do since my last build .143
Anyhow hello again All! only took me a couple days to remember my password, since the email I had on file was old.

yep, lots changed in 5 years, the last 2 especially have seen a number of classic 80s and 90s machines brought a lot closer to proper emulation, even the release just earlier today contains absolutely crucial Taito emulation improvements.
we've been busy on arcade and non-arcade stuff alike, mostly together and in harmony these days, it's good to see.

Dang. You two registered within days of each other and the post count difference is striking. No, don't look at my reg date and post count.

You would make a more realistic comparison to jmurjr. Exact same reg date and more mortal than Haze.
Your post has a bonus of giving me something to reply to and ruin that devilish post count. This is a good day for that I think.

Pretty sure those dates are from this board becoming a thing, though.
Also, I suspect Haze's post count could have been much higher.

That's what I was thinking. For whatever reason I never registered until 3 months later. Probably waited until I had something to post or comment.

I am only a noob, I cannot compete with all these ninth-month-of-2003 people!
(on a side note when did the mame.net forums disappear? I'm sure I was registered on there long before here, same with the MESS/Bannister forum)

I thought old MAME.net site was gone in 2009 or maybe it was the following year. I first lurked on old MAME.net site in April 2000 and registered and posted there in Dec. 2000

Just got back from a 3 month deployment myself. Might be the longest I've gone without logging in (because this placed is blocked now because of "games".
|
Just broke my personal record for number of consecutive days without dying!
