Clrmamepro 4.034 released

I'm getting the update error again with this release (looks like my PC doesn't like the new update.dll - sorry Roman!), but for everyone else, get it here.

4.034
fixed: due to a cache flag error, in non-merged mode, cmpro took merge attribute information for names into account which is wrong
fixed: setinfo, falsely hide empty parent set and its clones in tree when parent is empty but clones got content
fixed: scanner, falsely list empty parents set in full merged mode as wrong named when parent is empty
fixed: scanner, falsely list empty parent set in full merged, multi-software list mode as missing when set exists in various software lists
fixed: miss list generator falsely lists sampleonly sets when they only reference parent samples
fixed: scanner, falsely show wrong case set messages when missing option is turned off
misc: allow romclones to be sampleparents
misc: switched to visual studio 2017 (also for updater)
misc: updated zipArchive lib to 4.6.5, 7z sdk to 18.01

I had to unzip this and then drop over the old files.

is there a chance Scanner "Copy/Move - All Listed Incomplete Sets" feature will work for merged romsets ?
i.e. if clone set have some wrong/missings it will Copy/Move whole set archive, named as parent set.
or this feature broken completely ? for me it wont Move even parent sets, which is listed as wrong or have some missings.

a) such discussion should be placed at the cmpro forum ;-)
b) generally the move function should work fine, good question regarding merged sets though. No matter what merge mode is used, the tree shows the single sets (either completely missing or partly missing)...Then the menu action runs through all rompaths for each setname which has incomplete status...so yes..I can imagine that for fully merged sets it tries to move the clone only (when the clone is incomplete). Fixing this for full merge mode should be easy...I take a look at the code.

I'd like to, but it seems cmpro forum hates me, I never get registration confirmation emails (tried several different email addresses).

perhaps some regression happen ?
right now I see this after scan https://imgur.com/a/QsotN
but if I select Copy/Move Incomplete or Not Fixed - nothing is copied/moved into destination folder.

I've had a quick look at the code, it does indeed look for the setname no matter what merge mode is set...so for incomplete clone X of parent Y in a merged set it only tries to copy/(re)move the archive/folder with the clone name.
Guess I will update that for merge mode to do the action on the parent, too...
"Incomplete" matches missing, wrong hash, wrong length ...but not wrong name.
So as long as you select an incomplete parentset entry it should work for you.

is it possible change it to Move/Copy sets with any kind of issues (including wrong names) ?
it will be highly useful for people with 7zip (solid) merged romsets, like me. i.e. move all "not good" sets to some folder, and then rebuild from there (because no fixing can be done for solid archives).

When I'm checking MAME, it asks if I want to use software lists, should I answer yes here, or create individual profiles from the hash dir? I want to verify everything, all machines

Answer no and use single profiles. It's easier to maintain/setup. The batcher then allows to run a scan/rebuild operation through all profiles.
