Slider controls request
#372980 - 01/12/18 02:19 AM

Can the rate at which the slider moves up/down be increased? Specially the CPU OC slider.

I get that you guys aren’t a fan of OC’ing because of potential crashes/lockup’s but the speed the slider moves currently is straight up batshit maddening.

Can’t go back to playing SNES Gradius III without a 200% OC. It’s the game I wanted to play back in ‘91

I’m willing to risk the glitches.

Hold Ctrl while moving the slider.

Hope one day we can save OC's (with a "don't report bugs" disclaimer splash), but this will do.

Well, I do a "little" trick to save sliders values:

When I find the correct value for overclocking for example, I just load the rom, hit pause and set the value I want. Then I make a save state.

After this, if you load that state, you'll realise the value is saved, but it's not applied, so the only thing you need to do is to move the slider one position to the left and then other position to the right for make it working, that is much better to move it 200 positions (although using it with Ctrl makes it even faster, I didn't know that...)
