MAME stretch sliders won't work for a system

I've been using the MAME sliders with good effect. I found some games however where the stretch sliders won't work, and I've no idea why! They do do something though - whilst the image size doesn't change, if I keep moving them then the image itself gets a bit distorted. Any help appreciated!

You need to provide more information if you want someone to help you. At the very least:

  • OS
  • Version of MAME
  • Video settings
  • Affected systems

MAME - MAME64 0.192

Video settings - AMD Radeon Pro 450; 1920x1080

Affected systems: CAVE (not MAME or NeoGeo).
