Syberia is free atm on Gog.com. It's a 2002 3D adventure (third person, 3D characters with pre-rendered backgrounds) detective style with steampunk elements. Often gets on 'best adventure games ever' lists. If you like classic style adventures, although not point-and-click youmonkeyislandaddictbasts, you shouldn't miss this great one.

I'm quite sure I have several discs of this laying around (bundled with old video cards and such). Still haven't played it. Grabbed the free Gog copy anyway. I'm hopeless. Thanks for the lost HDD space
