Mame -listxml command
#370566 - 10/26/17 09:25 AM

When I do -listxml on MAME 0.191, in the resulting XML file, in the on the tag, the properties "color", "sound", "graphic" have disapeared.
Is this normal? Those properties have been removed or is it a bug?

In short, the information is still there, just formatted differently. Nothing will show for sets when there are no game flags adjusting normal status bits. This changed with release of MAME 0.189 as the status flags are undergoing refinement to be more precise as to WHAT is not expected to work at a device level.

Using brdrline as an example..

Then:
driver status="preliminary" emulation="good" color="good" sound="preliminary" graphic="good" savestate="supported"

Now:
driver status="preliminary" emulation="good" savestate="supported"
feature type="sound" status="unemulated"
