good question, but we may only guess... -P may mean "public test" or "unprotected" (this cart have no security chip) or "prototype" or anything else.

Edit:
after looking inside of games - it more like public test / proto, this new dump is month and week before final game build.

Awesome.

Would anyone care to comment on the likelihood of Naomi version of "F1 World Grand Prix" ever surfacing? ... or even the mythical Sega Driving Simulator?

is there any evidences this game was released for NAOMI ?

but we've seen surfaced Fish Life, which is turned out not NAOMI, and not really a game at all.
anyone interested in this piece of overpriced Dreamcast with touchscreen ?

why mythical ? we know for sure such machine exists, there is official page - http://www.sls-net.co.jp/simulator-old/index.html
however it is not game machine, so there close to zero chances to spot one in the wild or at AYJ.

System16 and may other game sites list it

Are you saying the likelihood is that they are all wrong? I could certainly believe that the other sites only list it because system16 does.

since most stuff online gets copy+pasted from one source, yes. we've seen it hundreds of times with other things.

that's right, nowadays internet is in hard form of mindless copy&paste cancer disease.
the fact there is no flyers or some advertisement news about this game makes me think it was not actually released for NAOMI hardware.

I can't find any evidence that "Charge N Blast" was released for Naomi either.

You're right about copy/paste disease, it's really difficult in practice and has made ongoing research incredibly difficult. I know most (all?) sites copied the very early research I did to track down Naomi (and every other system for that matter) games, where a lot of the information came from Japanese distributor "for sale" lists (among other sources).
These were normally accurate, but sometimes listed games which never made it to market or in some cases were hilariously mistranslated by me (Rhinoceros Bar Command etc.), but in my defense there was actually a game called "Armadillo Racing" so all bets were off.
I think my "hit to miss" ratio was pretty good tho', I've only had to delete 1 or 2 games so far

Hi Sixtoe!

Since you're reading this thread and this subject is already being discussed, please can you answer a question about the entries for (Naomi 2) Club Kart on System16?

It lists a 2001 version of Club Kart and a separate entry for 2002 Club Kart European Session that says it has different courses than the original (2001 version). How sure are you that an original version with different courses to CK European session actually exists? I've been looking out for it on all the markets I know for literally years with no sign that anything but the Euro Session version ever existed.

Thanks

1. all regular Club Kart games is "European Session", it is part of full game name.
2. there is 3 versions:
2001 with card reader support (so you have to play the game a lot to unlock all 12 courses);
2003 with no card reader and everything unlocked;
Cycraft ver - same as 2003.
3. all game versions have same set of courses.

there is also "Club Kart Prize" and "Club Kart Prize Ver B" medal games, which is very different compared to regular versions, and yes, have different set of tracks.
