Problems with 1983 Atar Star Wars sounds
#369344 - 09/02/17 08:35 PM

Hello,

Using the latest .189 build, I noticed that there are a few problems with the sounds. Some of the sounds get cut off. For example, when Darth Vader is supposed to say "I have you now", he says "I ha..." then cuts out. Also, some of the sounds don't play at all. Like when Luke is supposed to say "This is red five, I'm going in".

I checked out previous versions of MAME, and it seems to have started around the previous build 0.188. 0.187 and earlier builds seem fine. I didn't know if this was a known bug or not

Windows 11 64 bit OS
Intel Core i7-10700
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB

It appears to be a valid bug that creeped in during soundlatch modernization. I've put up an MT bug for you. Thanks for the report.
