32bit roms 64bit emulator

Wow it's great to use mame again after a 15 year or so hiatus..i have all these 32 bit roms on a few dvds and since then have a 64bit pc.. as you do.. Will these roms work on a 64 bit emulator?
Another novice question; also have an ipad with name installed and working, but the neo geo rims are not working. I put the bios neo geo.zip in the rom folder, but make gui treats it lime another game not the bios file. What's happening there?

If those are from 15 years ago, a lot of the sets have been updated. You'll have to find somewhere to D/L the newest working sets. (Don't even think about asking where...)
