NFL Blitz 99 and Overtime?

Playing NFL Blitz 99 on MAME 0.186 - all works fine EXCEPT tie games. The announcer says "We're going into overtime" and then the game just ends and dumps back to main screen.

I don't see any settings in the DIP switches that are causing this. Is it possibly a bug in the emulation? Weird.

If there's a setting I'm missing, I'd appreciate the help. If its a known issue and i should stop trying to resolve it, same.

It's probably an emulation bug. There are a couple already filed against blitz99 on MAMETesters:

Would you mind filing a bug for this issue?
