Solitaire Crashes TouchMaster 8000 on Mame

Hello there.
I found a serious bug problem that crashes when playing Classic Solitaire on the TouchMaster 8000 using the Mame emulator.
I just want to make sure. I really hope this fixes in the next version.

It's possibly in some mode to fix or skip this problems ?
For example using a differ emulator instead mame ?? I have try to look about MESS but i see now mess it's included on mame build......
There's exist some alternative to test if this problems persist ?

For the issue that has already been reported as bug a entry earlier, doubtful that there are any user alternatives other than hoping someone can fix the problem.

As Moogly states, no other emulators run the TouchMaster series...and RA does not count because they use code from MAME....so it won't be fixed unless someone determines the problem and fixes it in MAME.

Has this been 100% verified not to happen on hardware? Midway was pretty well known for shipping crashy code on some of their games, and even the Merit MegaTouch machines often had known-crashing games in early revisions of each package.

I never played any of the TouchMaster products myself even though some were at bars or restaurants. Like a car bumper sticker that I once saw back in the 1980s "I only brake for arcade pong games". 
I hope someone that might still have TouchMaster in this day and age can test for that particular bug.

It's one of the most popular games, and it crashes in every version where it's present. Somehow I doubt it's an original hardware bug ;-)
I suspect something with blitter or IRQs personally.

MESS was integrated into MAME quite a long time ago. At least several years

MESS was only doing non-coin operated hardware emulation while MAME was covering coin operated hardware emulation.
What did happen was when Micko (Miodrag) was in charge after Aaron handed release duties to Micko, there was a merge with source code of both MAME and MESS sometime 2010 or 2011.
That allowed various developers to make use of both source codes at once in order to emulate coin operated games that may have used hardware components found in computers or consoles which made sense doing that. This then meant MESS builds would be hosted on MAMEdev site.
By about 2014 or 2015, the decision was to have MAME incorporate MESS build altogether and make it all renamed to MAME (full name and no longer having anything to do with the original acronym that Nicola Salmoria had first used when releasing MAME officially in 1997).

It's not super popular, though. The Midway Touchmaster games were far outnumbered by the Merit MegaTouch machines (I've never seen one on location in my life, but I've seen dozens of Merit machines), and by that time most people played solitaire for free on Windows.
Anyway, someone with a working PCB please film what happens when you repro this - either way it'll be interesting.

Hi All,
Super Necro-Bump with additional information.
Found a video of Solitaire being played (albeit in German) on a real Touch Master machine that shows what should happen when a row is cleared in Solitaire instead of the freezing error in MAME. What happens when a row is cleared is the card moves away (does not spin) and a Star graphic with “König Nur” (King Only) Appears on the row and the points (if any) flash above it. Very good find there and your link to youtube clip will help out with a video reference of showing how the actual hardware is supposed to behave/work.

It should eventually appear on existing bug report sometime later or the video find might be able to help determine where bug is and maybe it being fixed later.

also shows proof that a German region of Touchmaster 4000 will need to be found and added as well. Hard to say how many Midway bug fix versions of 4000 were released.
As for already supported German regions, only one set is supported at this time.
