Kewl concept.
Yeah, here comes the negative.
I get trying to keep it inexpensive etc, but at some point keeping costs down makes it an undesirable product at any cost. I "think" this is where it is. It looks cheap... crappy like, the kind of thing you would novelty about with at most, certainly not invest a lot of time in. And disposable.
Why not make it normal-pinball-table dimensions... why not use a full-sized pinball... why not take advantage of the plethora of stock stuff already in existence, like normal pinball table legs, instead of making it look like it's sitting on a home-made tripod. And like stock spinners, and bumpers, slingshots, and whatnot.
I doubt this will appeal to the pinball community which already exists.
Personally I would love a kit to make my own pinball machine. I would not enjoy this kit, to end up with something I wouldn't display in a home game room. Maybe as a school science project, however.

yeah agree...
i'd be more intrigued by such modular things as a universal driver pcb with a customizable program and wiring terminals so I can take some plain wood and snap-in different components easily. that would be something i might even open my moth-filled wallet for and pony up.
