The game doesn't look re-volting, though.

Since the game ran on Windows 98, I'm now wondering just how different this is from the PC and console versions.

This port of the game featured a few changes in gameplay and graphics. Similar to the Dreamcast version's Time Trial mode, there is a global timer. This version also featured additional tracks, among those the fan-made Venice by Gabor and a new track created by Kurt Arnlund, an ex-Tsunami employee. Many of the tracks also have been customized to make the game friendlier and more forgiving for beginners.

I still play it occasionally on my dreamcast. It can be a fun game just to pass time. Wish I had a wheel and pedals for my dreamcast

Is there any chance of getting hold of the CHD file please. I have an original cab, but HDD had just crashed and corrupted part of the windows system. And am having difficulty trying to get the original board up & running again. Any help i can offer in terms of cab, just ask.
Dont really want to go route of having to upgrade pc etc.

I don't download hard drive images when they are dumped because of the high likelihood that they will change before going in mame in which case I'd have to re-download them. So you'll probably be waiting for it to be added to mame. I have no idea why/if it hasn't been added yet.
