For the past few days I've been watching the new season of Mystery Science Theater 3000 on Netflix. Personally, I think it's absolutely phenomenal.
Yeah, I have my fair share of gripes - I'm finding it hard to get used to Gypsy's new voice, and Tom Servo's voice is close enough to Jonah's (the new host's) voice that sometimes I have trouble telling which character is saying a given line. However, the reboot retains the janky, low-budget feel despite actually having a decent budget this time around, and the humor is absolutely spot-on.
Also, maybe it's just me, but I love the new intro:
EDIT: One major complaint, it's region-locked to the US, it seems. Or at least it's not available in Sweden. I have a Netflix account, and you'd think something as global as a Kickstarter-funded show would have a global release, but no. So I've pirated it instead, because fuck that noise. However, I still really want to financially compensate the show's creators in a way that (however small) increases the chance that there will be a Season 12. So if any of you can point me at a site where I can buy Season 11 on blu-Ray legit, or something like that, it would be very appreciated.

The older series reruns are currently on over-the-air channel 56.4 (ie: Comet tv) in soCal market.
One thing that maybe could have made Mystery Science Theater 3000 more entertaining is if they had voice impressionist Billy West on the show and Billy would work with "Jackie" puppet imitating the voice of Jackie Martling (1990s era Howard Stern's radio show). Maybe one of the two robots could be shown holding the Jackie Puppet while Billy West handles the Jackie puppet voice part.
Clips of Billy West's voice work with Jackie Puppet back in mid 1990s when Howard Stern's radio show was at its peak/greatest moments at the time.
The Jackie puppet addition might have been doable imo, but the obstacles would have been Billy West's work would command an expensive salary and the Mystery Science Theater 3000 production company would have to get a clearance/license with both Jackie Martling (actual comedian) and the person that originally created the puppet for Howard Stern back in 1994.
This stream works in Mexico, too. So there's a good chance it'll work in other places. The only downside? They seem to edit movies. They edited Alienator because the main baddie's leotard was a bit too revealing in the crotch area... and yet, they left in a scene of her removing a spike from her foot in all its plasticky gory glory. Go figure.
Also the new MST3K is region locked for me on Netflix. I can't watch it. I hate this backwards country. And they ask why we pirate stuff so much. Oy.
EDIT: Never mind, seems like Comet TV just region locked my ass outta the stream too. I knew it was too good to be true. Bleh.
