If he plays a character the whole movie in a fake voice or switches his sex, it might have worked for a 5 minute SNL skit but the movie is doomed. Also, if the movie is based around a fucking remote control probably pass on that one too.
My rule is that if the trailer contains a single frame of Adam Sandler, I wont go near it. When I first saw the trailer for Pixels I thought it looked interesting then I found out it was an Adam Sandler film and decided to give it a miss

I liked Click. I also liked Funny People. My two favourite Sandler movies. I also find Happy Gilmore a guilty pleasure.

Happy Gilmore was funny but he wasn't using a fake voice in it so it isn't relevant to my argument. Click was not funny but I didn't turn it off. I think I turned Funny People off.
The new Netflix one Sandy Wexler or whatever it's called is terrible.
