Elevator Action sound

Hello,
Please let me know if this is worth reporting at MAME Testers. An MCU was recently added during last release as well. Perhaps this is the reason.
Game: Elevator Action
driver: taitosj
set: elevator
MAME version: Official 0.183 from official site
Issue: - Insert coin sound and game music plays very loud - Sound effects are very low.
Examples: - During game's opening sequence, and throughout the game, the game's sound is very low - During game play, when player jumps you cannot hear the jump sound (unless it's very low and I just cannot hear it).
Troubleshooting: - deleted CFG and INI file - deleted MAME and re-downloaded official mamedev.org

I believe is the same problem than Kung-Fu master, since the new sound device was added, Thomas shouts are too low..

Until someone goes back & re-adjusts the settings in the source, you can go through & crank up the volumes on the ay-3s 8910a's. (Or you can do it yourself in the source & recompile it...but .184 should be out soonish & maybe someone will stick that in before releasing it later).
Just in case someone doesn't know, hit "`"(tilde) & down arrow until you see the volume controls for the ay's.

The first 3 are the channels for the music...CH0, CH1, & CH2 ay2=bullet hits & lamp sfx ay3=elevator & step sfx ay4=gun sfx
You still might want to open a report on those in case a dev doesn't see this, so that it will be fixed... Hope that helps. Enjoy!

Nope, we branch for the release in the afternoon in either Sydney or Shanghai time (depending on where Vas Crabb is at the time). From that point, development continues as normal in the master branch, but other than that the release branch is frozen unless fixes for major issues (think: crashes, asserts, validation errors) come in, which get cherry-picked into the release branch.
