Space Invader Reboot is actually a whole lot of fun.

As seen at Nickle Arcade in Dallas.
I also really like Nickle Arcade because you still had to drop a coin in their machines to play. Magnetic credits on a card just aren't the same. Even freeplay isn't entirely nostalgic. Accidentaally knocking your cup of coins all over the floor, and then panicking as a bunch of strangers stoop to help you pick them up wondering how many they are pocketing captures the good-old days right on the money... literally.

You live in Texas? Is that Pac-Man next to it?

I think this video should answer your question...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BpBRhZ4mNI
Go about 1:13 into the video. I have this version of Pac-Man at my local Golf N Stuff, but the screen isn't as big. The one we have is a lot harder than the original and you only get one life. It's setup to spit out tickets based on your scoring

I don't live in Dallas, no, just traveling through. I always check out local arcades when on trips.
And yes, that's pacman next to it, billed as the worlds largest pacman. It plays a bit different, with two-player mode having both players on screen at the same time. Was also pretty kewl, but the Space Invaders was particularly great. It's a sit-down, with a butt-shaker, and (presumably) an analog joy disguised as a cannon you use to shoot the invaders with, which shakes in your hand as you fire. Very fun.

I live in Tucson, Az and they just opened up a Dave & Busters here a week ago. It has the Largest Pac-Man. The screen is HUGE! They also had the Space Invaders, Ghostbusters & Galaga games. Of course, a ton of other games too. I just came back from it & LOVED it!

Yes, actually that's the one we have at Dave & Busters. You have one life where you score to earn tickets. It starts off feeling easy enough, but gets hard pretty quick

Played this today at the local D&B for the first time. Lots of fun, but gets quite hard VERY quickly. Totally dig the large LED screen.

When's Mame gonna emulate it? [/joking]
In all seriousness, that looks really cool.
