Looks like the place I was going to have a Skype interview with tomorrow just filled their last open position, according to their recruiter. With any luck I'll die of alcohol poisoning.

At least buy decent vodka that has been distilled a bunch of times. Don't just piss down your throat. You still have a date Saturday with that dolphin nose. Balls deep.

Well anyways, so totally new kink: soft dolphin nose in your orifice of choice. Can huff and puff and make squeaky sounds inside ya. Child-proof nose, too! No need for tape, like with rodents!!

Had you applied? He probably thought it was more courteous to call than send a rejection email.
Personally, I wouldn't call to reject someone unless I had another position lined up I thought would be a better fit for their experience.

Cold call. Never heard of them before or the place they were talking about.

That is idiotic. He's clearly dialing numbers blindly before even glancing at the resume.
My company will send out email "blasts" to potentials we find through keyword searches of resume databanks. We get some false-positives when doing that of course. I sure as hell wouldn't waste time cold calling someone without knowing that they had the skills/experience I'm looking for.

It's probably the guy's go-to response for not having to go through the awkward person-to-person confrontational "you failed the phone interview" scene.
