I played FANTASTIC (Galaga clone) when I was young, it was one of the my favorite game in 80´s.
I was very happy when I could play Fantastic in Mame.
I need say something about GREEN color in Fantastic, Where is the GREEN color? there is no GREEN COLOR in emulated Fantastic.
In the original arcade game there are LIGHT GREEN stars and there are enemys GREEN (light green).
The enemys come in LIGHT GREEN and when receive first shot, becomes BLUE.
I have a original picture from de arcade game if you want.
I would like to know if the developers know this missing color, but in driver information says COLOR:GOOD.. but it is not true.

from what I can tell the PROM dump we have doesn't allow for that colour scheme..
that said I'm not entirely sure it's good, the dumper seemed to struggle, eg. another was dumped for the brazlian 'Kong' game which I couldn't hook up to provide any reasonable colours at all.

It's also possible it does something whacky with resistor weights a la Laser Batte/Cat and Mouse rather than the assumed R2R ladder. Do we have a photo/schematic of the actual video output section?

the colors in this video are wrong, this looks like a hacked/modified fantastic. in the original the capture colors and the captured ship were in different colors.

The only thing I found wrong in the video was the color of captured ship, (the correct color is red), but the other colors are correct. (light green enemies, light green stars, etc..)
I played the original Fantastic Arcade in 80´s and the colors are correct except the captured ship.
This was my favorite arcade game when I was young.

I played it in the 80s, 90s and until 1998 the machine was still here in the city.

OK, I understand, but this is a Brazilian version, diferent hardware, not the same Namco´s Galaga.
This is a galaga clone created on Galaxian hardware by Taito Brazil.
Namco´s Galaga have diferent colors from Taito´s Galaga.
This is a diferent game and only exists in Brazil.
