The iPhone 7 doesn't have 3.5mm jack, so you go around with a cumbersome adapter, you use the stupid EarBuds with the lighting port (remember you can't listen to music if you want to use it to transfer data or recharge), or those AirBuds.
My only gripe with Apple is that they usually only offer one solution, and usually it's deluxe. It's like you go to buy a house and they say 'and here in this room you'll have the yacuzzi, that raises the price another $30000'. But I don't want the yacuzzi, I'm never going to use it, I can't ask for the house without it, but I'm still forced. Vendor lock-in as its finest.
However, like Windows did, Apple is a master at that, convincing users that their solutions are not vendor lock-ins but actually great ideas. Note I said 'did', because the Windows 10 user experience is remarkably low and the Office 365 is bordering scam.
But that's my opinion, and who am I to know anything, I'm only an user. An historial user. Milestone. Boobs, dude, sweet.

I'd give them credit for being wireless earbuds that actually don't have wires, rather than the normal ones that are still wired to each other, but on searching I find Amazon lists half a dozen or more that also manage that, for less money. (Ignore the popular result that shows two for under $20 but is really just two angles of the single piece.) There are more expensive ones, as well. Others seem to be offering the complaint that they'll get lost because Apple's design doesn't fit ears properly, but I've no experience with that.
It comes down to quality, and sound quality in particular. Apple hasn't seemed concerned with sound in the past. They bought Beats, after all. This time they're focusing on that microchip.
I remember way back, one of their best-sounding iPods was supposedly not intentional. I think the story was that they used a smaller, cheaper component to shrink things down for the mini, and it was more suited to the task. I doubt I could find anything about it today.

Hmmm. I don't keep up with any of these things. I was going by the retail cost of my Plantronics Voyager Pro, which is at least a hundred bucks I think a few years ago. I bought mine used/refurb/etc, of course. I don't listen to music via my phone or other device....I don't know as I would even on a trip, though it's something to think about....so I don't have a stereo set.

That's the headline but it appears to be confusing people if you take out the details:
-Ireland agreed to the deal before they moved there and aren't asking for any money
-The money would go to Ireland so the Merca comment doesn't make sense
-The US told the EU to back off of Ireland so the Merca comment makes even less sense
-The US gives tax breaks to companies all the time to get them to move places like Nike
-The EU is a crumbling joke now that England and Apple are giving them the finger, it's a domino effect

Yeah, ya dumbass, but wired is only good if you're stuck sitting, and then not necessarily. Fuck, most phones come with cheap-ass wired headphones and microphone.

My Android phones never came with those. Only iPhones came with those. I don't buy iPhone anyway. Go for cheap phones.
