Arcade games with RPG mechanics that are emulated in MAME

I just updated my set, and I'm looking for games like Cadash or the Capcom D&D games that are emulated in MAME. Any suggestions? The more obscure the better. Thanks!

There really aren't many because it isn't a genre that suits arcades at all.
Gaiapolis has some RPG elements.
Capcom's Red Earth gives you a character password to save your stats, but there's not really enough to the game to make it worthwhile.
Gauntlet at a push, but that's more the theme than the gameplay.
Knights of Valor 3 apparently does too, but it isn't emulated, and most players of it hated it as a result (you can't 1CC it, you literally have to build up your character over multiple plays, grinding the same levels at a credit each time until you're ready to face the later ones, I ended up with a lot of people begging me to crack it / emulate it just so that it could be hacked into a regular game like the rest of the series)
If you count micro-transactions as an RPG-like element then there's Double Dragon 3 where you have to buy things in the shop with real money, but the less said about that one the better.

Thanks, I'll check out Gaiapolis. I've gotten my characters to lvl 99 in Gauntlet Legends and Gauntlet Legends Dark Legacy and finished those games. Actually you can probably beat them at low character levels because the monsters just get stronger with you. KoV 3 sounds like a money grab like they did with Double Dragon 3. Still it'd be fun to play and keep jamming on the insert coin button.

Cadash has some elements of RPG. Arcade was usually not designed for that sort of thing. It was mostly designed for 2-10 min play per quarter. If you want something more grindy like gauntlet legends I would recommend a couple of games from steam, 'full mojo ramapage' or the current iteration of gauntlet would be a good pick.

There are still undump RPG games that MAME doesn't have yet. Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle is one of those games. Too new on this one.
