MAMEWorld Forums - The Loony Bin - Anyone looking to join a Minecraft server?

I know MW has its own server and all, but I figured I'd ask just in case anyone wants a second home, so to speak.

I'm currently paying like 20 bucks a month for a solid server with good performance, but most of my friends have drifted away from the game within a few weeks of me starting a new map on the server, and it's getting annoying to be effectively playing single player despite connecting to a server.

So if any of you guys want to join my server, just post here with your Minecraft username and I'll whitelist you.

The one rule is pretty simple: Don't be a dick.

That means don't mine exposed ore if it's obviously in an area that someone else has discovered, don't blow other peoples' shit up, and don't take other peoples' shit from chests unless there's a sign saying it's public, or unless you've asked the person. Pretty much the most basic standards for a server that isn't pure anarchy.

The only other rule, and it's more of a guideline, is that the spawn town is currently 100% safety-lit, and it's bordered on two sides by a cobblestone wall to demarcate the area in which you can be more or less guaranteed that you're not going to be jumped by a hostile mob, even at night. The other two sides are bordered by water, so there's no point in it. I encourage people to build close to the spawn town and to extend the grid-based safety lighting that we've currently got going on, and if what you've built meets the safety lighting specs, I'll gladly extend the fence to include your property.

Other than that it's a pretty low-key server. The people who do play are invariably happy to help, and I'm pretty lenient as far as admins go.
