On the contrary, once people figure out how to hack it and add more games it'll be worth it.

still doesn't sit right with me. Ever since the GBA, I've hacked/modded pretty much every handheld and console I've had, for the purpose of emulators (and porn... because... why not?). But having to hack an NES, to play NES games?

You're telling me you never disabled the lockout chip on your NES?

After a while, it's the only way to get games to work, since it gets rid of the blinking problem.

Huh? Never heard of it. When getting games to work became too difficult, I simply took the top and the sled off and put a book or something on top of the games to hold them down and make them work. Never failed. I never thought of that as hacking or modifying, just a simple workaround.

Edit: just watched the lockout thing on YouTube though. Pretty simple
