I was wanting to create an artwork file for Battle Shark. Per a walkthrough video I found, the Battle Shark cabinet has red light bulbs that light up when you get hit. I looked through the source driver and didn't find any reference to them and my hook utility isn't showing anything. Will they hurt me if I report this as a bug? Or is there somewhere else I should report this?

I just looked through the driver, too, and didn't see any mention of the lamps in the comments, so maybe it's not known. In which case, yes, it should be mentioned on MAMETesters as missing.
Just curious... you have a link to the video that shows the lamps?
RELAX and just have fun. Remember, it's all about the games.

Which Battle Shark is this? Nintendo or Taito?
Nintendo have ton of light up round things on the bezel at the top. Also I don't know what those lights at the bottom part suppose to do. Video right here. Is this he talking about? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTXUweZKHpM
The service manual doesn't show a lamp flasher output but it does show a 24V motor driver. In the video, the guy says the lamps light up when you get hit and the cabinet shakes, so I suspect the lamps are wired in parallel with the shaker motor.

If that were the case, the question would be whether the lamps flash in intervals while the shaker motor runs or if they are sustained along with the shaker motor. I'll pass this on to the guys at MameTesters and see what they say.
