you probably have already heard about MAME support for 10 players in Saturn Bomberman, but you hardly know about the fix I've been searching for ages about NBA Jam records saving on the MegaDrive/Genesis drivers

Nice job, eta - impressive stuff!

One question - you mention:

Do you know if the ngpc is one such driver? There are ngpc titles such as mslug2nd that don't save progress after restart either, and it would be interesting to know if this is also related to the core's current serial EEPROM implementation.

Used to play this game on that Genesis CDX. Gave the system and the games to my little cousin. Him and his friend fried the system. I was so pissed about that. Same game but in a different port of it. lol

Ah, ok. That settles it I guess, just seemed coincidental since it exhibits the same symptoms.

Hopefully this work can be translated to the EEPROM saving for Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing.

Same issue with this game no saves and have to start over from scratch everytime.
