Hello,
I noticed on the mameuifx site that they stated that official MAME now supports hiscore.dat. If that's correct, how would I go about enabling this?

You need \plugins\ folder from official MAME package. It must be located where you have your MAME.EXE. Move, if you have it, your old \hi\ folder to the same location. Open MAME.INI and change these two lines as follows:
Code:
plugin 1 plugins hiscore
It's recommended yo perform a MAME -cc first to create a new correct MAME.INI

You can slso open up MAME and use the internal UI: Select "Plugins" option (just above Exit on the screen) and then it will provide you with a list of installed plugins to use. You can use that menu to toggle them ON/OFF as you choose.
