Another great keyboardist musician gone. My favorite keyboardist was Joe Zawinul during his teaming up with sax player Wayne Shorter doing Weather Report releases from 1972 to 1986.
Imo the crummy year was back in 1993 when Frank Zappa being gone and then the great drummer Jeff Porcaro. I liked Frank's work and Jeff was a great drummer during 1970s and 1980s.

Some stars can't take it anymore. Robin Williams for example.

It's been reported elsewhere that he had nerve damage to (and only semi-successful surgery on) his right hand, and could no longer play to his (admittedly perfectionist) standards. That's a very depressing thing. -JW

Poor guy. I know what you mean.
I had a nerve pinch on my right hand one time. Only two fingers and a part of my thumb working. Took a very long time get it back working again. I didn't even had it work on. They gave me a wrist brace. I thought I had a stoke when it happen. Every once a while it wanna lock in.
