That's pretty cool, I like the way he improvises rather than making custom parts (e.g. welding on washers to make a camshaft and cutting slots in nuts to make cam followers).

My junior high industrial arts teacher would've loved that.
Also liked the vacuum for the welding.
Not sure I care for the noise, though. Some tube inserts for the rods at least might cure a bit of that. I'm sure he's got rod layin around....
