I've sort-of given them money for things. They've an app I installed on my phone, Google Opinion Rewards, that occasionally alerts me that they want to give me $0.37 credit for telling them that I have actually NOT been to a polo match in the past three months, or other such amounts and questions. Right now I can afford a $9 album, or $18 with the current 50% off deal. I looked for one yesterday, and quit when an album they were describing wasn't the one on offer.
