How can I get the list of categories?

Taking a look at catver.ini or at any frontend using this file, you can see a long list of games and the category they belong to. I would need to extract the list of categories alone. I could go through catver.ini trying not to repeat what I copy but that would be hard. Any idea where to get the list?

Write a script to parse the file and find unique ones. Perl, Python and Awk are all suitable languages.

I think I'll organize all games by categories in EmuLoader and then copy them. They are not so many.
My idea, once I have the list, is to translate them to Spanish and create a script with AutoHotkey to change the text in any catver.ini file.

I can create a small tool to export all categories to a .txt file. It's easy.
...Click "Select" button to select a catver.ini or another .ini file.
File will be read and a save dialog will be shown so you can select a destination folder and new filename. File will be created there...
.txt or .ini extension ?
What kind of output format do you want ? just list the category on each line ?
