AWESOME!!! Bringing back missing sounds makes such a huge difference in gaming. Thanks a ton for this one MAMEdev.

Now if only we could get Jump Bug on the radar.

Check out this video. This is a full restore of a Jump Bug on the John's Arcade YouTube channel. Start at 10:05.

If you compare it to the MAME version, the arcade version seems to have a lot of low range sounds that are missing in MAME.

1. At the start of the game, in the intro tune, there are some drum sounds that are missing in MAME. These drum sounds also exist in the re-spawn sound after dying. Missing in MAME.

2. The bounce sounds that the car makes in the arcade version are silent/missing in MAME.

3. The exploding volcanos make sounds in the arcade version, but are silent/missing in MAME.

There may be others, but those are the top 3 that really stand out.

Ah, so those must be the discrete sounds that are mentioned as missing at the top of the driver. If I can find schematics I might try to draw the sound circuits in Kicad and if they use common parts maybe they will be emulated in the future.

You would be a God to many if this can be pulled off. Jump Bug is such an underrated game. Very challenging and the gameplay doesn't get old.

Keep in mind that it would take a very large performance hit...
