Calling Sunrise (the show where the story is from) a news show is wrong. Its a light entertainment breakfast show that runs lots of fluff pieces and crap.

Doesn't look like that much of a comeback when they show 8-10 middle aged men playing a couple machines in a pub. People ask me where they can find a pinball machine all the time, though, and sadly there are very few places to go.

For those who don't frequent BYOAC, you wouldn't know there are more MAME controls products on the market than ever...though it's mostly down to Ultimarc, and Groovy Game Gear. In Slikstik's shadow, there are three or four US companies making cab kits, including pinball, with a couple few on each of the other continents as well. And there are tons of smaller/home businesses that do other related things, most of them members of BYOAC who started by making or buying a cab to MAME.
