This one took longer than I thought, but it's finally at a point were others can try it out. The LEDs are in position in the artwork, but many of them are likely in the wrong spot. I'd appreciate if people can play with it and let me know if they figure out ant LEDs that need to be moved (for example: "extra ball LED should be in the 2000 advance bonus position").

There is also a bezel, but I recommend turning it off to give more space to the playfield unless you have a large 4K screen. Just go into the Video Options menu and turn off the bezel layer.

Look at Press Start under the rt. There no clouds and smokes too. Weird. Maybe alt or first set or newer or bootleg?

Thanks for catching that light. I already ran out of LED signals which means either:
- There are more LED outputs which are unemulated, or
- Some of the LEDs are wired in parallel (two or more LEDs that turn on and off together)
For the time being, I'll assume the second, since that's easier to implement.
As for the cloud, I can tell you it is there, just very hard to see in that photo. The backdrop is lit with UV blacklight and digital cameras don't photograph it well with the default settings. Unfortunately, Solar War was a prototype that never went to production, so photos are rare. I posted some here that show the clouds more clearly. I still need to recolor some sections to simulate the blacklight effect as I got some of the detail from photos of the backdrop under normal light.

Oh ok. I see the clouds now. I do like this one.

Updated to include the missing LED Dulleron noticed and I fiddled around with the colors to try to better simulate the blacklight.

The reflected video screen should be slightly translucent. I guess around 75-80% opacity?

It should be yes, but when I set the screen to anything less than 100% alpha it disappears completely. Oddly, I've done translucent screens on other artwork like Guided Missile with no problems. Maybe the large number of flashing lights is pushing the LAY engine to it's limits? I noticed Video Pinball also does not use a translucent screen so maybe Mr. Do ran into the same problem?
