guys, I have one last problem, how do I find mame.ini in mame version 0.162? I looked but the closest thing I found was a notepad document.

That's what it has always been in previous versions. Did you try opening it with Notepad?

nevermind, I figured it out, I actually had to get the mame.ini file from someone, nevermind this post.

Oh yeah. In cmd (Command Prompt), type cd (location of your mame.exe)
then type 'mame -cc' or something like that.
-cc is for create config
This will give/make you a mame.ini file.
