Paperboy crashes on latest version of Mame

Hello,
On Mame .161, when I try to launch Paperboy, Mame just crashes. I tried deleting cfg, nvram, ini files for the game just to be safe. Also disabled hlsl. But nothing I've tried has helped. So I thought I'd post this, to see if this is a common issue

HHHHhhmmm...I reinstalled MAME into a new folder and created a new mame.ini with the -cc command. It works just fine that way. Now I gotta figure out what setting I had originally that the new version doesn't like :-/

I eventually found the culprit to the problem. If I have cheats enabled, the game crashes in the latest revision

MAME 0.161 could mean so much.
Was it an official binary from MAMEDEV? If so, which one (32, 64, Debug)?
My testing didn't show anything crashing with paperboy and an up to date cheat.7z file (last official cheat release was after 0.156).

It's the official 64 bit buids. I tried regular MAME and MAMEUI. I can't tell you when I last updated the cheat file, so it could be an out of date one. I rarely use cheats anyway, so it didn't really bother me

I just updated to the latest cheats for .156. Sure enough, the game doesn't crash anymore

I don't use cheats. If I suck that bad, I don't play the game.
On another note, have you noticed in the game over paper page, that the kid's blue coat blends into the street? Color issue?
