I bought Pac Man DX and Nights, then I said "SUM BITCH" cause I didn't realize they were Steam keys. Now I gotta create yet another account somewhere on the net in order to use my $7 worth of games.

Yeah, much of what Humble Bundle sells uses Steam. I have to say though, as DRM goes, Steam isn't bad at all. Yes, if Steam ever goes then so do the games, but I really don't see it going anywhere anytime soon.

Not really. Everything that was ever released on Steam is floating around cracked. And you'd better believe that I will go that route if that's the only way I have to play the game I've purchased.
There are 3 reasons why I love GOG. 1) Cheap as all hell. 2) No DRM! 3) I just happen to like older games. I swear half of the things I purchased from there, I already have laying around on disks that came with video cards and such... but they're so damn cheap (and updated to work on newer systems without much hassle) that I couldn't help but buy them. With Steam... I grab stuff when a download code comes with hardware I picked up, or when they have a kick ass sale.

Preaching to the choir- I have a GOG account myself. Not just the games though- I picked up some movie packs including one with the AVGN movie.

You're right. I just get tired of having to create an account everywhere I go. Just one more thing to manage and keep up with. My password book is getting bigger and bigger. It'd be different if I had the option of actually closing/deleting an account if I choose never to return, but most places don't really give you the option.
