Compiling mame tools with recent GIT

Short question - how to compile mame tools ie. chdman with latest buildtools and GIT repository? make all produses only mame.

So I should invoke:
make -j4 TOOLS=1 PTR64=1 ?
Using just make TOOLS=1 didn't work
EDIT. It works i just had to remove already compiled sources and build everything from start.

Yeah, with the new build tools, you have to build with TOOLS=1 from the start or you won't be able to build tools anymore (unless of course you make clean).

Not entirely true. You can use "TOOLS=1 REGENIE=1" to refactor for tools after building. IT may or may not disappear before release, though as the build system is still being worked on.
