"Golden Par Golf" is mysterious...

What's the deal with the game Golden Par Golf? It's listed as an original parent. It's also by Strata/Incredible Technologies. But I can't find any information on the game and it doesn't seems to officially be part of the Golden Tee series despite being nearly identical to it. Anyone got any information on this weirdo?

Sales were by Electrocoin so it was probably just renamed and tweaked for the UK market and they thought "Par" would work better there in 1992. Typical marketing bullshit of the day.

Right, meant to reply to Big Karnak rather than you.
Believe it or not, at the time it was dumped and added, several developers seemed unsure that it wasn't some sort of bootleg. So we know it's legit, but that's about all we know on its history.
