As if I don't have enough hobbies, this is so cool.

The video is labelled simply "How to melt soda cans" but it's not the melting, it's what you can do with the molten metal. Sweet! Imagine what you could do.

Gah. If I ever won the lottery, and didn't have to "work" all day... so many cool things I would be doing with my time. I'd probably be contributing more to society as a wealthy man than I do working.

Care to start a fund? For society's sake, not mine.

That kind of resolves something that crossed my mind a few years back. It's a furnace so accessible it's almost a crime not building it.

I'm subbed to him too(?).

I was lucky enough to score a fresnel (freh'nell) lens from a projection T.V. that someone ditched at this place nearby where I live. It looked like someone smashed the plexiglass screen with a container of grape Kool-Aid. Yeah. I got the lens, the Double Sided Mirror! (Now I can make one of these), 2 speakers, and the speaker cloth (it was on the grill, but the grill was broke too).

Anyway, I have plans to use the lens to melt stuff.

Oh god. Wish I took the time to get those projection lenses out.

That's really freaking cool. How many soda cans do you think it would take to cast a guitar neck? I want to make one of these:

It doesn't take that much money.
