720 new goodies.....

So I noticed 720 is back to using a dial. When did this happen, and why?
Also, the sound is superb. I swear I don't remember it sounding that good in the arcade...not even the machine I've played recently. What changed there?

Regarding controls, Derrick a few years ago made 3 different options all available for adjustment in TAB menu "Game Configuration" and it seems to cover everyone's needs. The game has a passionate player base desiring authentic control panel usage.
The sound? Pokey was improved a couple years ago by Couriersud which might be showing in proper analog filtering.

Oh. I vaguely remember that I guess. (URherenow is laughing....) I guess the default is spinner....thought I'd played it on my MAME rig more recently....cos with a joystick I can't for the life of me spin....and with a spinner, it's unwieldy.
Oh well. Pretty as ever, though.
