#333686 - 10/23/14 04:22 AM

Does anyone have a Moon Cresta Bezel like the one in this flyer they can share?

Can you not see it? If not, here is a portion of the flyer attached.

I see it now, just not in the original post. I'd like that bezel, too, but haven't seen it anywhere.

ArcadeHistory shows 7 different uprights and 2 cocktail versions of Moon Cresta. I think the one you're looking for is the Nichibutsu version.

As long as Moon Cresta is in the news.....if anyone has access to the two "wing" parts of the bezel for the Gremlin version of Moon Cresta, I could sorely use a scan, or even photos of them, for a 3dArcade model. These are the pieces on either side of the main bezel that attach to it at a 90' angle, and continue the same artwork.

You probably knew this already, but in the photo you posted, the wings are on the wrong side and upside down.

What resolution do you use for your 3D models? I assume you don't need 4K like we try to use for MAME artwork?

While I was looking for bezels, I found a nice Moon Cresta instruction card for the cocktail version and added it to the LAY file.

Yup, that's not my photo, I was just pointing out what I'm looking for.

I try to start with as high a resolution as possible, like a 300 dpi scan, which makes cleanup easier and more accurate. Then I downsample the image to somewhere between 512 x 512 to 1024 x 1024 pixels, sometimes I pack multiple images into the same 1024 pixel file. I would love to use higher resolution textures but with dozens of models in an arcades, they have to be kept fairly simple or the FPS bogs down.
